COACHING MEN REQUIRES COACHING MANHOOD
Empowering Coaches.
Enlightening Players.
Reimagining Manhood.
We help coaches turn the everyday moments of sport into opportunities to shape how young men show up in the world.
TeamsOfMen gives coaches practical tools to engage the decisions already happening in their locker rooms, practices, group chats, relationships, and lives—building empathy, emotional fluency, accountability, and a healthier understanding of what it means to be a man. Because coaching young men has never been only about the game.

Reimagining Manhood Through Sport
WHAT IS TEAMS OF MEN?
Practical Tools for the Conversations Sport Can't Ignore.
For Coaches
Practical tools to coach the decisions happening beyond the scoreboard.
TeamsOfMen equips coaches to engage young men in conversations about masculinity, emotions, relationships, accountability, consent, social media, and the decisions they make every day.
Built for the realities of sports teams, our tools help coaches address what's already happening in locker rooms, practices, group chats, relationships, and lives—instead of waiting until something goes wrong.
For Players
Reps to question, reflect, communicate, and make better decisions.
A shared language for how teammates treat people, handle conflict, and hold one another accountable.
For Teams
The Conversations Your Team Can't Afford to Avoid.
Young men are already receiving messages about manhood, emotion, relationships, sex, conflict, status, and belonging. TeamsOfMen gives coaches a way to bring those messages into the room, examine them, and practice what comes next.
EMOTIONS
Recognize what you're feeling
and decide what you do
with it next.
LANGUAGE
Examine what gets said,
laughed at, normalized, and
passed along.
MASCULINITY
Question the messages
about who men are supposed
to be.
CONFLICT
Learn to disagree, respond,
repair, and stay in the
conversation.
RELATIONSHIPS
Understand and respect the experiences of others.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Take ownership without
excuses, defensiveness, or disappearing.
COMPASSION
Understand boundaries,
pressure, respect, and
responsibility.
DIGITAL LIFE
Navigate texts, group chats,
social media, and decisions
made behind a screen.
You Don't Need Another Speech.
You Need Reps.
Young men don't learn how to navigate relationships, emotions, conflict, accountability, or masculinity because a coach gave one great talk.
TeamsOfMen gives coaches ready-to-use lessons, activities, discussion tools, and ongoing resources that create opportunities to practice these decisions before the moment gets hard.

FROM THE PEOPLE IN THE ROOM
WHY I BUILT TEAMS OF MEN
I Was Coaching Manhood Before I Realized I Was Coaching Manhood.
I spent more than two decades coaching college basketball before fully recognizing something that had been happening the entire time: my players weren't only learning basketball from me. They were learning what strength looked like. How men handled emotion. How we talked about women. How we treated one another. What we laughed at. What we challenged. And what we let slide.
TeamsOfMen grew out of my attempt to become more intentional about that responsibility. More than a decade later, I've used and refined this work with hundreds of male athletes and coaches across high school, college, and national coaching spaces.
I'm still a coach. I'm still doing the work. And I'm still learning.

Make yours intentional.
